On December 7, 2025, Mission: POW-MIA set up a display at the Honor & Remember banquet
held in Chesapeake, Virginia. Execu琀椀ve Director Dave Hu昀昀man read the cita琀椀on in honor of US
Navy Captain Thomas Scheurich who had been missing since March 1, 1968 during the 昀氀ag
presenta琀椀on. Tom Jr. was on hand to receive the 昀氀ag in honor of his Dad.
Mission: POW-MIA leadership team members were
back in Washington, DC mee琀椀ng with the Vietnamese
Na琀椀onal Steering Commi琀琀ee 515. This is the Vietnamese equivalent of DPAA. We provided updates on
our mission, con琀椀nued talks on ar琀椀fact exchanges and
provided a tour of the WW II & Vietnam Memorials.
